The spring is situated on meadows / pasture land in Liptovské Sliače, more specifically in the part of Nižný Sliač. It surfaces approximately 500 m above Záhumnie Street, in a small valley. It surfaces from a clay bed, at the periphery of a meadow. There are no trails leading to the spring.

– The water is led above the ground in a pipe.
– The spring used to serve as a water source for grazing livestock, but it is abandoned, covered with growth and not in use.
– There is an iron fence around the spring to prevent access by livestock.
– The water is led into iron conduits for drinking.
– The conduits are unmaintained, full of seaweed and growth.
– The spring is situated in the protected zone of the Low Tatras National Park.
– From the spring, you can see a part of the Low Tatras and the Great Fatra.
