Any lover of history, art and photography will find something in Ružomberok that will catch their attention. The town is the seat of the Liptov Museum, which is the administrator of numerous exhibitions located all over Liptov. At the museum headquarters in Ružomberok, you can find many exhibits and artefacts from the Liptov region, but also works of photographers or other artists during various exhibitions organized in the museum. When visiting the town, the art lovers should not skip the gallery of world-famous artist Ľudovít Fulla, which has a rich exhibition of his works, but which also holds exhibitions of works by other world-famous artists throughout the year. Of a somewhat different genre is the Scout Museum, which is the only one of its kind in Slovakia, and which focuses on the development of scouting in Slovakia as well as in the world. The already mentioned exhibitions of the Liptov Museum can be found in Vlkolínec, in Likava Castle, in Ludrová, Havránok, and other places. Various memorial rooms and smaller exhibitions can be found in the surroundings as well. And finally, we would like to draw your attention to the most recent one of the museums, the Museum of Handmade Paper Production in Ludrová.
