A peak rising above Revúcke Podolie.
It is situated south of Ružomberok, near the town of Liptovská Osada and the Ružomberok’s housing area of Podsuchá. It is a part of the Great Fatra mountain. It is 1530 m.a.s.l. high. It lies 12 km away from the centre of Ružomberok (as the crow flies). The peak has wooded landscape. The peak has almost no viewpoints. It is visible particularly from Lower Liptov and from other peaks and hills in Liptov.
The top is not accessible through any trails.
The peak is not accessible to visitors, as there are no marked hiking trails and it is situated in the Nature Reserve of Smrekovica.
To get as close to the top as possible, you can go along the blue-marked hiking trail, leading from the housing area of Podsuchá to the territory called “Močidlo” situated on the Liptov branch of the Great Fatra ridge.
– It is situated on an offset (a side ridge) of the Liptov branch of the Great Fatra ridge.
– The peak including the surrounding territory was declared a reserve in 2012.
– The peak is covered with spruce woods mixed with blueberries, which are of primary forest type.
