The spring is situated in the woods below notch Vyšné Šiprúnske Sedlo, approximately 200 metres away from a hiking trail. The water surfaces from a rocky bed covered with peat, in a conduit below an old cabin. It is located approximately 5.8 km away from the end of the settlement in Nižné Matejkovo. You can get to the spring along the red-marked hiking trail from Podsuchá, from which you need to make a turn to an unmarked trail.
