The cross is situated at meadow peak Nová Hoľa. It is located on a stone sticking out of the grass a few metres away from the peak, at the border of Ružomberok district and Banská Bystrica district, in the cadastral territory of Liptovská Osada. It is located approximately 100 metres away from the top station of the cableway at Nová Hoľa.

– Situated by the cross is a sitting area and a panorama panel.
– Passing by the cross is a yellow-marked hiking trail running from Nová Hoľa to Liptovské Revúce.
– Passing in the vicinity of the cross is red-marked long-distance hiking trail E8, called “Cesta Hrdinov SNP“ (Trail of SNU Heroes).
– From the cross, you get a view of Zvolen and Small Zvolen, with the Great Fatra in the background. Rising at the north is Great Choč. The east view consists of the Low Tatras with the ridge of Prašivá, as well as hills such as Salatín, Fedorka, Červená Magura, Brankov and many more. In addition to that, we can admire peak Kozí Chrbát with the Staré Hory Mountains, Poľana, the Vepor Mountains or the Kremnica Mountains.
– The cross is situated in the Great Fatra Mountain, in the sub-part of Zvolen, which is situated in the protected territory of the Low Tatras National Park.
