The cross is situated in notch Hiadeľské Sedlo, at the border of Ružomberok district and Banská Bystrica district. It is situated on a meadow partially covered with growth, in the vicinity of a hiking trail. The cross is located approximately 30 metres away from tourist signpost ”Hiadeľské sedlo“.

– The cross is situated in the Low Tatras National Park.
– Passing in the vicinity is red-marked long-distance hiking trail E8, called “Cesta Hrdinov SNP“ (Trail of SNU Heroes).
