Spring in the Droždivá Valley, the right one, Ludrovská Valley

The spring is situated in a wooded area, in the upper section of valley Droždivá, which opens into the Ludrovská Valley. It is located approximately 850 metres away from hiking signpost “Ludrovská dolina, Pamätník SNP“ and the memorial in the Ludrovská Valley. You can get to the spring along the creek in the mentioned valley. The final section of about 150 metres is untrodden and situated in steep terrain.

Information:
– The water surfaces from a slope, under trees.
– The spring is unaltered and not in use.
– The water from the spring, which has a low flow rate, creates tuff terraces.
– The waterlogged spring area below the spring extends for a few dozen metres and it contains other springs and seepages with low flow rates.
– It is located approximately 250 metres away from the yellow-marked hiking trail running from the Ludrovská Valley to Ostré. However, there is no trail leading to the spring.
– The spring is situated in the cadastral area of Ružomberok, in the protected zone of the Low Tatras National Park.
