Manor House in Liptovská Teplá

The manor house is situated in the town of Liptovská Teplá, approximately 10 km away from the centre of Ružomberok.

The Late Renaissance, two-storey manor house of the Dvornikovich family comes from the 17th century and it is the second oldest building in the town, after the church. The Dvornikovich family was a very important family, for instance, Ján Dvornikovich was a personal adviser to the king. After World War II, the manor house was nationalized and it became the seat of the local national committee and the management board of the United Farmers’ Cooperative Society. Currently it is a private property and it is closed to the public, it can only be looked at from the nearby street. Unfortunately, the building has deteriorated and needs restoration.
