The station is situated above the town of Liptovské Sliače, by a well below peak Chopec, in the area of Sliačska Magura. It is located under a tree, in a cavity in the roots. It is located approximately 6.2 km away from bus stop “Lipt.Sliače,Vyšný Sliač,u Cabana”. You can get to the station along the trail from the hiking shelter located on the blue-marked hiking trail running from Liptovské Sliače to Malý Salatín.
