The chapel is situated in Vlkolínec, which belongs to the cadastral territory of Ružomberok. It is located in the front wall of the Church of the Visitation of Virgin Mary, to the left of the entrance door. It is located approximately 130 metres away from the hiking signpost in the centre of Vlkolínec.

– The chapel consists of an alcove in the wall of a church, which is lined with stones and there is a statue of Our Lady of the Snows inside.
– The statue in the chapel was originally located in a Lourdes cave at Vlčia Skala (Wolf Rock). Its relocation is connected to the story of her rescuing.
– There is a metal roof above the alcove.
– Placed around the stone lining on the wall are small decorative metal flowers.
– The bottom stones of the lining serve for storage of burners.
– The chapel is protected with a forged fence.
– The chapel is west-oriented.
– There is a sitting area by the chapel.
– Situated next to the chapel is a memorial plaque for priest Pavol Horský.
– From the chapel, you get a partial view of Diel, Brankov, Ostrô, Salatín and other peaks in the surroundings.
– Passing by the chapel is a yellow-marked hiking trail running from Biely Potok, through Vlkolínec, to Hrabovo.
– Passing by the chapel is a blue-marked educational bike trail connecting Vlkolínec and Pribylina.
– Passing by the chapel is a green-marked bike trail running from Ružomberok, through Vlkolínec, to the area of Jazierce.
