The Roman-Catholic Church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary is situated in Ružomberok’s town district Biely Potok, approximately 4 km away from the centre of the town. It is perched on an elevated area in the eastern part of Biely Potok.

On the main altar, there is a relief painting of the Assumption of Virgin Mary.

Originally, the church was consecrated to St. Wendelin, until the change in 1968, when it was consecrated to the Assumption of Virgin Mary. Prior to the construction of this church, Biely Potok used to have a wooden chapel of St. Wendelin, situated by the cemetery.

Uphill from the church, there is a rock formation, “Skalka”, from where you can get a nice view of the surroundings.
