The spring is situated in the wooded area above Ružomberok’s district Biely Potok. It surfaces in the upper section of the valley below hill Ostré, or Ostrô, as it is called by the local inhabitants. You can get to the spring through the valley from the ski tows in Biely Potok. However, there is no trail leading to it. It is located about 1 km away from the ski tows.

– The water surfaces in a slope from a rocky bed with soil sliding onto it.
– The spring is unaltered and not in use.
– Within the radius of approximately 30 metres, there are more small springs situated in the slope. However, this one has the largest flow rate.
– The spring is situated in the protected zone of the Low Tatras National Park.
