The spring is situated below peak Predný Šiprúň, in the final section of valley Nižné Matejkovo, approximately 50 metres away from a hiking trail. The water surfaces from a gravel bed covered with peat, directly above the trail. It is located approximately 5.6 km away from the end of the settlement in Nižné Matejkovo. You can get to the spring along the red-marked hiking trail from Podsuchá, from which you need to make a turn to an unmarked trail.
