Spring in the mouth of the Sliačska Valley, Liptovské Sliače - Stredný

The spring is situated in the mouth of the Sliačska Valley, in the bank of the Sliačanka creek, approximately 1 km away from the built-up area of town Liptovské Sliače. In order to get to the spring, turn left in the mouth of the valley, towards the creek, and walk a few metres back along the creek, to the place where a field road crosses the creek.

– The water surfaces from the bank by the creek.
– The bank is reinforced with wooden planks to prevent a landslide.
– Due to a change of the creek bed, the creek has moved so close to the spring that the water from the creek flows directly into the spring.
– Because of being flooded by the creek, the spring is not in use and it is neglected.
– The water from the spring is a right-bank tributary of the Sliačanka creek.
– There used to be a wooden well built above the spring.
– The spring is situated in the Low Tatra Mountain, in the protected zone of the Low Tatras National Park.
