The spring is situated in the wooded area above the town of Lúčky. It surfaces a few metres above the road in the Jastrabia Valley. Passing by the spring is a red-marked hiking trail running to Great Choč from Lúčky. It is located approximately 2 km away from the built-up area of the town.

Information:
– The water surfaces from a rocky bed.
– The water is collected into a concrete dam with a flow meter, which measures the flow rate of the spring.
– The water flows out from the dam through concrete conduits and it is led into a creek.
– There is a concrete bridge built over the conduits for easier access to the water.
– Passing by the spring is a red-marked hiking trail running from Lúčky, through Great Choč, to Jasenová.
– Passing by the spring is an educational trail called “Choč pre nás a my pre neho” (Choč for Us, We for Choč).
– The spring is situated in the protected bird area of the Choč Mountains.
