The spring is situated in the wooded area at the premises of the Švošov menagerie above the town of Švošov. The water flows out from a rocky bed and it is led into a tank. You can get to the vicinity of the spring along a blue-marked educational trail.

Information:
– The majority portion of the water is led from the ground through a pipe, which directs the water into a tank. The tank serves as a water supply for the menagerie. The excess water flows back to the area below the spring.
– A smaller portion of the water flows freely down the slope.
– The water from the spring supplies the drinking basin situated 50 metres below the spring.
– Passing in the vicinity of the spring is a blue-marked educational trail, the hiking – educational trail of Švošov.
– The spring is situated in an enclosed area of the menagerie and it is not accessible.
– The spring is situated in Šípska Fatra, which is a sub-part of the Great Fatra.
