The spring is situated at the periphery of a meadow below notch Kalisko, approximately 170 metres away from a hiking trail. The water surfaces from a peat bed under small trees situated by an unmarked trail from notch Kalisko, which will lead you to the spring.

– The spring is unaltered and not in use.
– The spring is difficult to access because the terrain is muddy and waterlogged.
– The spring area has a view of Šiprúň, Prašivá and Malino.
– Passing in the vicinity of the spring is a red-marked hiking trail running from Černová, through Šiprúň notches, to Podsuchá.
– The spring is situated in the Great Fatra Mountain, in the protected zone of the Great Fatra National Park.
