The spring is situated in the canal of the old Vlkolínec water line above the area of Borovka, above Vlkolínec, in the cadastral area of Ružomberok. It is built approximately 500 metres above Vlkolínec. You can get to the vicinity of the spring along an unmarked field road running above Vlkolínec, which turns left at the end of the built-up area of Vlkolínec, by the information panel about Vlkolínec.

Information:
– The spring is unaltered and the surrounding area is covered with growth.
– The water surfaces directly in the canal of the old Vlkolínec water line, which used to supply water from the valley of Suché Hrabovo.
– A few metres below the spring, the water flows into a small peat pond (mud swamp), which is used by woodland animals.
– The spring is situated in the protected zone of the Great Fatra National Park.
– The spring is situated in the protected zone of the monument reserve of Vlkolínec.
