The spring is situated next to a trail in the upper part of a small valley called Uhlisko situated below Vlkolínec, in the cadastral territory of Ružomberok. It is located approximately 600 metres away from the built-up area of Vlkolínec. You can get to the spring along an unmarked trail running through the valley of Uhlisko from Vlkolínec, in the direction to Biely Potok.

– The water surfaces from a rocky bed in a small grove.
– The spring is man-altered and lined with stones, but it is not in use.
– The water from the spring flows away in a channel in the terrain, and after a few metres, it disappears below the ground.
– The spring is not permanent, it is often dried out.
– Passing by the spring is an unmarked trail connecting Vlkolínec and Biely Potok.
– In the vicinity of the spring, you can find old stalls (hay barns).
