“Koliba Bešeňovka” is situated in the town of Bešeňová, approximately 10 km away from the centre of Ružomberok.

The shepherd’s hut is designed in a traditional Slovak style and offers traditional Liptov dishes, such as “bryndza” cheese gnocchi, gnocchi with sauerkraut, or dumplings with “bryndza” cheese. However, the offer also includes other meat or non-meat dishes, fish dishes, or salads. The restaurant is situated close to the motorway and it has the capacity of 48 seats on the ground floor and 60 seats on the first floor. In the basement, there is a closed lounge with the capacity of 50 seats.

Younger visitors will be pleased with the large playground situated right next to the hut. It has various kinds of climbing frames, slides, roundabouts or swing sets.

In the vicinity, there is also “Bešeňová” water park.
