The spring is situated at the periphery of a meadow below the area of Vrchlúky above Vlkolínec, in the cadastral territory of Ružomberok. It surfaces 120 metres away from hiking signpost “Sedlo pod Sidorovom”. You can get to the vicinity of the spring along the field road running from the signpost. The road runs downhill, to the right of the road to Vlkolínec.

– The water surfaces from a steel pipe under a concrete wall.
– The water is artificially led from the valley of Suché Hrabovo to be used as service water supply for Vlkolínec.
– Passing in the vicinity of the spring (50 m) is a green-marked hiking trail running from the centre of Ružomberok, above Vlkolínec, to the Liptov branch of the Great Fatra ridge, a yellow-marked hiking trail from Biely Potok, through Vlkolínec, to Hrabovo, a yellow-marked bike trail connecting Biely Potok and notch Sedlo pod Sidorovom, and a bike single trail called “Rozprávkové Enduro“ running around peak Sidorovo.
