The spring is situated below a trail in the upper part of a small valley called Uhlisko situated below Vlkolínec, in the cadastral territory of Ružomberok. It is located approximately 470 metres away from the built-up area of Vlkolínec. You can get to the spring along an unmarked trail running through the valley of Uhlisko from Vlkolínec, in the direction to Biely Potok.

– The water surfaces from a rocky bed covered with growth.

– The water from the spring creates a small spring area covered with moss.
– The spring is not permanent, it is often dried out.
– The spring is polluted by the surface water which often runs through the spring after rainfalls.
– Passing by the spring is an unmarked trail connecting Vlkolínec and Biely Potok.
