The spring is situated in the woods above the town of Valaská Dubová, below the area of Šťukovka. It surfaces at the periphery of the blue-marked hiking trail running to Great Choč. It is located approximately 900 m away from the built-up area of the town.

– The water surfaces directly at the periphery of the blue-marked hiking trail running from Valaská Dubová, through Stredná Poľana, to Ružomberok.
– The water surfaces from a rocky bed below the slope.
– The water from the spring flows onto the trail and after a few metres, it disappears.
– The spring is unmaintained, full of small trees and not in use.
