The spring is situated in the wooded area above Ružomberok’s district Černová, in the vicinity of the area of Repiská. It surfaces from a rocky bed approximately a hundred metres above a hiking trail. You can get to the spring along the creek from well “Malý Jarok” situated by a red-marked hiking trail.

– The spring is unaltered and not in use.
– The water from the spring is collected into well “Malý Jarok” situated approximately a hundred metres farther downhill, by the trail.
– The spring has a large flow rate and it creates a deep channel.
– The access to the spring is not trodden.
– Passing near the spring is a red-marked hiking trail running from Černová, through Šiprúň notches, to Podsuchá.
– Passing near the spring is a green-marked bike trail running from Černová to Ľubochňa.
– The spring is situated in the Great Fatra Mountain, in the protected zone of the Great Fatra National Park.
