Due to its location surrounded by the Choč Mountains, the Low Tatras and the Great Fatra, one could say that Ružomberok has been destined to use these mountains for hiking. Directly within the cadastral territory of the town, there are over a dozen marked hiking trails and educational trails. If those are not sufficient for you, there are also more than thirty marked hiking trails and educational trails in the close surroundings. The trails run through terrains of different levels of difficulty, so everyone can choose based on what they want to see or what they are able to conquer.
